We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting our growth in the retail and luxury sectors.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities • Financial Operations: • Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions. • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. • Financial Reporting & Compliance: • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies. • Lead annual audit processes and coordinate with external auditors. • Process Improvement: • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting operations and implement scalable processes and systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and cost accounting procedures. • Leadership & Collaboration: • Supervise and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and development opportunities. • Partner with FP&A and business teams to align financial data with business objectives. • Strategic Contributions: • Assist in developing budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning. • Play a critical role in integrating accounting functions for any new business acquisitions or system implementations. The Successful Applicant • Education & Certification: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • CPA certification (required). • Experience: • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a managerial capacity. • Previous experience in high-growth retail, luxury, or consumer goods industries (required). • Strong knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting practices. • Technical Skills: • Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. • Familiarity with financial analysis tools and reporting platforms.
