Engineering Manager - Marketing Technology

Description: • Airbnb was born in 2007 when two Hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 4 million Hosts who have welcomed more than 1 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. • The Marketing Technology (MarTech) team is responsible for providing a state-of-the-art platform to enable effective marketing and product engagement with our customers. • As the engineering manager, you’ll lead a team of talented software developers to build a no-code or low-code platform to author and publish content on onsite (airbnb.com) and offsite (emails, push notification). • You will also work closely with XFN partners like design, product and marketing stakeholders. Requirements: • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing an engineering team and 9+ years of relevant software development industry experience in a fast paced tech environment. • Past hands-on experience in Frontend Web Development • Hands-on experience with designing, leading, and architecting large, high-scale and distributed web applications • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team and with teams across the engineering organization • Experience hire, retain and grow senior engineers and leaders with a track record of building productive, world-class engineering teams. • You are passionate about technical quality, efficiency and operational excellence. • Past experience working with modern web technologies like React, Typescript • Past experience in Marketing technology or CMS services is a plus Benefits: • This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
