Position Title: Program Assistant, Strategic Initiatives Department: Programs Management and Support Salary Range: (47,321 to )69,463 (Union Grade Range) Budgeted Salary: (51,000 to )53,000 Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Assistant for Strategic Initiatives to join our innovative team. Reporting directly to the VP or Director of Planning and Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive administrative, secretarial, and project support across multiple program areas. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in dynamic environments and appreciate the opportunity to contribute to a variety of impactful projects. Key Responsibilities • Provide administrative support and general assistance to designated program departments. • Assist in managing grants and utilizing our Grants Management Software effectively. • Fill in for staff on vacation or leave, managing calendars, processing check requests, and preparing expense reports. • Maintain donor management databases for our Strategic Initiative departments. • Coordinate logistics for lay committee meetings and events, including food ordering and setup. • Collaborate with program staff on various departmental projects. • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to support different departments and engage in various tasks. • Share responsibility for managing the main line during designated periods. Additional Responsibilities • Be prepared for additional assignments as necessary, including involvement in special campaigns. • Participate in events and meetings beyond normal working hours. Required Skills • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities, both verbal and written. • High attention to detail and familiarity with database systems. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Knowledge of Jewish life and the Los Angeles Jewish Community is an asset. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred. • 2-3 years of relevant administrative or related experience. • Proven capability to work effectively under pressure and handle competing priorities.

Compensation

And Benefits • Competitive salary range of (47,321 to )69,463 (Union Grade Range). • Budgeted salary between (51,000 and )53,000. • Full-time, non-exempt position with a hybrid work model requiring in-person attendance on designated workdays. • All staff members must be fully vaccinated, with proof required, while accommodations for medical reasons or sincerely held beliefs can be discussed.
