Remote Entry-Level Business Analyst (Anywhere in US) | WFH

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our team and provide comprehensive support to the Acting PMO Director. This remote position allows you to engage with mid to senior-level management, leveraging your knowledge of organizational procedures and best practices to drive impactful business initiatives. This role presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain practical experience in business analysis while contributing to significant projects within a vibrant and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Draft precise and effective Business Requirements Documents (BRDs). • Create training guides and facilitate training sessions for internal and external stakeholders as necessary. • Collaborate with IT teams and delivery managers to ensure project releases align with operational and client testing approvals. • Participate in a sprint-based environment, utilizing shared IT resources across various projects. • Aid in the enhancement of standardized best practices to fulfill company and team objectives. • Conduct data analysis using SQL Server for requirements gathering or functional testing. • Generate periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual) that involve complex calculations and multiple data sources. • Research and compile materials for special projects connected to marketing and contract administration. Required Skills • Exceptional written and verbal communication proficiency. • Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative abilities with meticulous attention to detail. • Capability to work autonomously, adhere to deadlines, and juggle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate across varying levels of the organization and with external clients. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. • Familiarity with SQL for data analysis is essential. • Understanding of sprint methodologies and project management concepts is advantageous. • Previous experience in medical claims processing or the insurance and claims sector is desirable. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline, such as computer science or healthcare. • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst is required. • Scrum certification or relevant experience is a plus.
