Key Responsibilities Transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with precision. Ensure adherence to client-specific style guides and maintain high standards of accuracy in transcripts. Process audio recordings with meticulous attention to detail and a thorough understanding of legal terminology. Required Skills Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. Exceptional listening skills and literacy, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar. Strong ability to meet deadlines and follow established guidelines. Proficiency in typing with both speed and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment. Familiarity with processing sensitive audio/text content. Capability to pass a background check. Court reporting students are encouraged to apply. Note: This role is not available to residents of Massachusetts or California. Qualifications Significant experience in legal transcription or related fields is essential. A strong understanding of legal terminology and processes is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification in court reporting or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
