Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative at Delta Air Lines, you will: •

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing timely and empathetic responses to inquiries via phone, email, and live chat.

• Resolve issues related to reservations, flight changes, cancellations, and special requests, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by utilizing the right tools, resources, and team expertise. • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution. • Guide customers through our services and products and assist them in using our website and mobile app effectively. • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on Delta’s policies, new technology, and service enhancements. • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and maintaining high-performance metrics. Requirements • A high school diploma or equivalent; some colleges prefer it. • Proven customer support experience or experience in a client service role • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. • Emotional intelligence to deal with various types of customers calmly and effectively • Comfortable working in a remote environment with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace • Availability to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.
