What You'll Do as a Printing Production Worker:
- Be a key player in the printing process: load and unload newspapers from machines onto pallets, prepare inserts, and maybe even help hang printing plates.
- Support our machine operators: lend a hand with tasks like clearing jams, restocking supplies, and keeping the equipment clean.
- Keep things running smoothly: maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Be willing to learn new skills: eager to learn and grow by cross-training in various roles.
Work Experience The Preferred Candidate Might:
- Have a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn or cross-train
- Have previous experience in manufacturing or production (Knowledge of newspaper production is a plus)
- Thrive in a fast-paced, environment
- Have a collaborative spirit and a knack for teamwork
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods with ease
