Part-Time Court Transcriptionist
Description I am a busy court reporter seeking a part-time typist who can transcribe court hearings from audio recordings. The hearings involve both civil and criminal cases. Pay is based on the number of pages transcribed. I will provide all necessary training. The ideal candidate must be able to type at least 70 words per minute. Workload can vary from 50 pages a month to over 1,000 pages... This is a remote position, and transcripts need to be delivered in Word format. Familiarity with Express Scribe or other transcription software is a plus. I am looking for someone to step in for a typist who has been with me for over 10 years.
