Social Content Creator- REMOTE, NY

We’re seeking a creative and passionate Social Content Creator to amplify our voice across social media and build our digital brand footprint at a key point in RealSelf’s growth as a company, which you can read more about in our . This is a part-time contractor position with the opportunity to join the team full-time as we grow our Digital team. Responsibilities: • Content Creation: Conceptualize, script, shoot, edit and post engaging content across all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest and more). • Trend Spotting: Leverage social platform trends, beauty and aesthetics trends, and maintain an active pulse on the social media zeitgeist (influencers, trending sounds, emerging content formats, popular treatments/procedures, etc.). • Camera Ready: Comfortable being on camera for content that benefits from a first-person narrative. • Community Engagement: Engage with followers, respond to comments, manage interactions, and cultivate a vibrant online community. • Metrics & Optimization: Track and analyze the performance of social content, hit audience growth goals, and provide insights to inform strategy. Requirements: • You are located in New York City. • 2+ years of content creation experience, ideally within beauty, aesthetics, lifestyle, or fashion. • Deep knowledge of social platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. • A love for all things pop culture and social media trends. • Ability to script, shoot and edit vertical video content, CapCut experience a plus. • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
