Online ESL Teacher - United States

The Role We are currently looking for independent contractors to come to our online platform and teach English to our adult students. We provide an immerse environment where the student can be in a one-on-one class or in a group setting. All materials are provided to teachers, and you would have access to our student base which includes thousands worldwide. This is a remote role without the need of previous teaching experience, but you would need to meet the following requirements: • Live in and be authorized to work in the United States. • Be a fully fluent English speaker (C2) • Have a completed Bachelor’s degree or above. • Have a 40-hour+ TEFL or TESOL Certificate. You would also need to meet the following tech requirements to... use our immersive online classroom, Hyperclass: • CPU • Intel Processors (i5 or higher + 10th generation or higher) [4 or 6-digit identifier but should NOT contain the letter U] • OR • AMD Ryzen Processors (AMD Ryzen 5 3000 or higher + Nvidia 1050 GPU or higher) • OR • Mac (M1 Chip/2020 or newer, or Intel i5 10th generation+) • Memory: 8 GB or higher • OS: Windows 10+ or Mac OS X 10.13 • HD: 30 GB free capacity • Screen resolution: 1366 x 768 or higher • Browser: Chrome 102 or higher Peripheral Requirements: • Webcam (1080p minimum) • Green Screen • Ring Light At EF we believe that the world is better when people try to understand one another.
