Coca Cola is hiring for General Warehouse Laborer To ensure quality and safety, Coca-Cola Beverages Florida relies on their General Warehouse Laborer to maintain and communicate inventory levels. They work together to identify when to order more products, when products have reached their expiration date, and ensuring product rotation on a first-in-first-out (FIFO) basis. They check to make sure... products are properly labeled and organized. Additionally, General Warehouse Laborer must be readily available to locate and retrieve products when requested by other departments. Duties & Responsibilities: • Product Handling: Implement appropriate safety measures to prevent any workplace accidents while handling products. • Order Fulfillment: Utilize manual and powered pallet jacks to transport products and effectively prepare orders for shipping, thoroughly examining each item to guarantee their accuracy and completeness. • Equipment Operation: Effectively operate heavy machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, with safety as a top priority. • Maintenance: Accomplish habitual upkeeping and purification of warehouse equipment and laboring sites to secure a safe and sterilized environment. • Restocking: The necessary routine of renewing store merchandise and replenishing inventory in line with the organization's guidelines. • Compliance: Strict adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and procedures is crucial for compliance. Proper handling of products prevents damage and meeting regulatory requirements is non-negotiable. • General Duties: Assist with diverse warehouse tasks, including intermittent bending, kneeling, lifting heavy loads, and scaling heights as needed. • Flexibility: Be adept at performing various job functions and aiding in different warehouse, production, and cooler service tasks according to the needs of the business. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: • Accomplishment in maneuvering both manual and powered pallet jacks and forklifts proficiently (certification proving proficiency). • Manifesting an unwavering dedication to accuracy and competence in observing guidelines. • Skill to conduct bodily performance, involving weightlifting, stooping, and ascending. • Essential Practices for Warehouse Material Handling. • Displaying outstanding teamwork abilities and self-reliance. Minimum Qualifications: • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is advantageous. • Candidates who have worked in the fields of warehouse, production, or equipment maintenance are encouraged to apply, although we also welcome applicants who have had less than one year of work experience. • The advantages of holding a forklift certification are numerous.
