Walmart US, an industry leader in large-scale retail, is currently looking for a dedicated and motivated Stocking Associate to join our team on a part-time, flexible basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for replenishing and organizing stock, ensuring the overall tidiness of the store, and assisting customers as needed. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, health and dental benefits, paid training, and paid vacations.
Job Description:
As a Stocking Associate, your primary role will be to keep our products in order and accessible to our customers. This includes restocking merchandise, organizing the sales floor, and performing inventory checks. You will work closely with the store manager and other team members to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Unloading and sorting merchandise from trucks.
2. Restocking shelves with merchandise in a concise and orderly manner.
3. Assisting in inventory counts.
4. Maintaining a clean, safe store environment.
5. Assisting customers in locating products.
Requirements:
1. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
2. Ability to lift heavy items, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform other physical tasks.
3. Excellent customer service skills.
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
5. A team player mentality.
Educational Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous retail experience is preferred but not necessary as we provide comprehensive training for all our new associates.
Experience:
While prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage, it is not mandatory as we believe in hiring for attitude and training for skill.
