Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker for our Logan branch at Amazon, the world’s leading e-commerce company. This part-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $15-20 per hour, with shifts typically under 4 hours. Job Description:

As a Warehouse Worker, you will play an integral role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time. Your main duties will include picking, packing and sorting products for distribution, inspecting goods for defects, and maintaining inventory accuracy. As part of the Amazon team, you will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently.

Responsibilities:

– Unloading and loading goods from delivery vans or lorries

– Checking that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received

– Recording any damaged, missing or faulty goods

– Signing the delivery form, once satisfied that the goods are complete

– Moving the goods to the correct area in the warehouse, either manually or using mechanical handling equipment

– Picking, packing and wrapping goods

– Keeping records of stock

– Cleaning the warehouse

Requirements:

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Ability to lift heavy objects

– Previous experience in a warehouse is preferred, but not necessary as on-site training will be provided

– Basic math and recording abilities

– Excellent organizational skills

– Great attention to detail
