Job Summary:
FedEx Freight, a leading provider of LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Tractor Trailer Operator for immediate hire. Job Description:
As a Tractor Trailer Operator, you’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of tractor trailers for transportation and delivery of goods. You’ll also be tasked with conducting pre-trip inspections, ensuring vehicle safety, and adhering to all transportation laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
– Operating tractor trailer in compliance with company rules and regulations
– Conducting inspections of vehicle before and after each trip
– Maintaining a clean and safe vehicle
– Reporting any issues or incidents to dispatch
– Ensuring timely delivery of goods
Requirements:
– Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
– Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
– Ability to handle physical workload
– Strong work ethic and reliability
– Ability to work independently or as part of a team
– Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Educational Qualifications:
– High School diploma or equivalent
– Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Experience:
– Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
