Summary:

IBM, one of the world’s leading technology companies, is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to work during the evening shift. This job will be performed for less than 4 hours every evening. The successful candidate will be entitled to benefits such as health and dental insurance, paid training, and paid vacations.

Job Description:

As a Data Entry Clerk at IBM, your main responsibility will be to maintain our database by entering and updating customer and account information. You will be working in our dynamic team to ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a high level of organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

– Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry

– Check source documents for accuracy and verify data and correct data where necessary

– Obtain further information for incomplete documents

– Update data and delete unnecessary files

– Combine and rearrange data from source documents

– Transcribe information into required electronic format

– Scan documents into document management systems or databases

Requirements:

– Proven data entry work experience

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

– Strong attention to detail

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

– High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Previous data entry or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
