Part-Time Front-End Developer - Remote
Department: Interactive/Web Great Lakes Publishing, a community-focused media company, is looking for an remote Front-End Developer for our Quest Digital division on a part-time, hourly basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development technologies and design tools, and experience building sites in various CMS platforms such as Umbraco, WordPress, and... HubSpot. Responsibilities ? Develop and maintain company websites using Umbraco, WordPress, and HubSpot. ? Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing and intuitive interfaces. ? Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability. ? Ensure website design is optimized for smartphones and tablets. ? Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies. Qualifications ? Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer / Web Designer. ? Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript. ? Programming experience in C#/PHP ? Experience with CMS platforms (Umbraco, WordPress, HubSpot). ? Understanding of SEO principles. ? Ability to build accessible websites. ? Excellent visual design skills. ? Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
