McAllister Delivery, Inc. - a Contract Service Provider for FedEx Ground - is looking for full-time delivery drivers to work out of our terminal in Pittsburg, Kansas and deliver packages to Northeast Oklahoma and Southeast Kansas... We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional manner to increase our customer satisfaction. We are dedicated to providing the tools and technologies to help our drivers succeed and are looking for dependable and motivated drivers who are interested in a career position. If you have experience as a delivery driver, courier, local driver, or pick up and delivery driver, you may be the perfect McAllister Delivery candidate! McAllister Delivery is looking for candidates that are comfortable behind the wheel and have the ability to navigate using a popular map program. If you have driven for UPS, Amazon, Walmart, Domino’s or any other similar company that considered a plus! We have either a Full Time or Part Time job waiting for you as we are immediately hiring. Requirements: • Must be 21+ years old • Pass a criminal background check (going back 7 years) • Valid driver's license and clean driving record • MO Class E (Chauffeur) License or CDL or Standard KS/OK license • Ability to operate delivery truck and deliver packages in rain, sleet, snow, heat, and dark. • Ability to pass a DOT Physical and Drug Screen (including marijuana) • Good communication, customer service, and decision-making skills • Ability to handle up to 150 pounds What to Expect: • Full time benefits after 60 days - McAllister Delivery pays 50% of healthcare premiums Responsibilities: • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes • Follow routes and time schedule • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Schedule: • McAllister Delivery Inc runs routes 6 days a week and 7 days a week during the holiday season • Employees work 5 days a week, 6 during volume surges • Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.50 per hour Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off • Paid training • Referral program Shift: • Day shift Work Days: • Every weekend Application Question(s): • Can you pass an initial drug screen and then random drug screens throughout the year? • Are you still interested in the job after reading that you will be driving a van/truck, making around 150 stops a day, getting in and out of the truck delivering packages with an average weight of 10lbs but could be as heavy as 150lbs to businesses and homes? • Are you 21 years of age or older? • If you have a Missouri Drivers License, do you have a Class E or higher?
