Lead SME Ab Initio Administrator

Role: Lead SME Ab Initio Administrator Contract Duration: 6 months contract-to-hire... Location: Remote with potential for meetings in Reston, VA or DC with advance notice, (candidates must reside in DC, MD, VA, WV, PA, DE, NJ, NC, TX, FL, or NY). Top Must Have Skills: • 10+ years of experience as an Ab Initio administrator. • Experience leading a team of junior or mid-level resources providing mentoring/coaching. • Experience working on NoSQL databases (HBase, Hive, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle NoSQL, Amazon DynamoDB, etc.) • Experience with AWS technologies such as (S3, EC2, ECS, etc.) • Experience with Unix and Linux, along with Shell scripting experience • Experience with automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes, etc. (Preference is Ansible) Position Description: The Lead Ab Initio Administrator will be responsible for leading all tasks involved in administering Ab[1]Initio in the Cloud, including required hands-on work. 90% of the current ETL footprint is on Ab Initio. What You’ll Get to Do • Lead all tasks involved in administration of ETL tool (Ab Initio) in the Cloud. • Support the implementation of a Data Integration/Data Warehouse for the Data products in CDP Private Cloud (on-prem) and in CDP Public Cloud (AWS). • Leverage knowledgeable of the end-to-end process to act as an SME. • Provide credible feedback and input in all impacted areas. • Guide/mentor junior resources and less experienced staff.
