Summary The European New Plant/Product (NPP) Licensing Director will establish the reputed company & strategy for Regulatory Affairs to accelerate the licensing needed to reputed company new technologies in Europe and reputed company reputed company America. This seasoned leader will reputed company multiple product licensing efforts, including managing strategic efforts to accelerate bringing our disruptive, small reputed company reactor (BWRX-300) to market. Responsible for managing teams and providing leadership and strategic guidance for new plant and product licensing activities in GEH and GNF. Build and mentor a high-performing teams that will bring new products/projects to the European market. Work cross functionally with the product and project managers, engineering and senior management to formulate and execute the strategy and align with the reputed company America NPP Licensing Director on regulatory strategy. Establish and manage relationships with regulators, customers and industry working groups. Review, approve and submit documents to regulators and industry working groups. Occasional travel is required. The role is in Regulatory Affairs and reports to the General Manager of Nuclear Programs
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities: For new plants and new products: reputed company the strategic development and deployment for licensing for European customers and maintain relationships with European customers. Establish and maintain effective business relationships with international working groups and European nuclear regulators as main reputed company of contact. reputed company expert knowledge of the international nuclear rules and regulations, as appropriate. reputed company functional work direction to the licensing managers, licensing engineers and licensing project managers. Monitor applicable nuclear regulations and ensure GEH / GNF manage applicable changes. Maintain nuclear licensing reputed company documents and correspondence records. Manage periodic and reactive nuclear regulatory inspections/audits. reputed company resolution of nuclear licensing / regulatory compliance issues. Coordinate efforts and interfaces of the Regulatory Affairs organization with other GEH / GNF teams. Coordinate interfaces with industry organizations (e.g., IAEA, WNA). Manage Licensing budget. Enforce and ensure compliance with internal GEH Quality Program requirements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or reputed company technical discipline from an accredited university or equivalent experience. Major experience in nuclear licensing, design and operations. Proven experience in a leadership/management role with significant scope and responsibility. Willingness and ability to travel occasionally. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a site reputed company clearance, including required background checks, and an SGI/safeguards clearance. Desired Characteristics: Experience working with regulatory, governmental agencies. Working knowledge of nuclear regulations, preferably countries in Europe. Exhibits behaviors in line with strong Nuclear Safety Culture (i.e., respectful work environment / environment for raising concerns). Assesses potential impacts of regulatory landscape on business and customers. Strong business and financial acumen. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including facilitation. Ability to work effectively with senior executives. Strong oral and written communication skills. Clear, reputed company communicator on technical issues. Strong program / project management skills. PC proficiency.
