This course will survey a range of topics reputed company to the neuroscience of psychedelics including how psychedelics exert their mechanisms of action in the nervous system, the role of various transmitters in maintaining mental health symptoms and the potential role of psychedelics in reversing these symptoms, the various neurological effects of psychedelic drugs, contraindicated use of psychedelics with other psychiatric medications, and more.
