[Remote] Mortgage Consultant (US, Virtual)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading global relocation management and moving services company, and they are seeking a Mortgage Consultant to assist consumers through the loan application and closing process. The role involves managing loan applications, consulting with consumers, and building relationships with various stakeholders to reputed company production goals while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage an active pipeline of loan applications to produce maximum loan closings per month
- Using sales skills to convert pipeline into locked loans while maintaining margin goal
- This will include interaction with consumers to obtain the required loan documentation, and working closely with other team members, (i.e. Processors, Closers), to exceed our production goals while providing excellent customer service
- Gathering pertinent loan application data, building consumer relationships, and applying technical knowledge of the mortgage industry to reputed company information to consumers and assist them in making sophisticated loan reputed company
- Partnering & managing relationships with reputed company & past Consumers, Realtors, Customer Experience team, Corporate Clients & Directors, & other reputed company parties to build referral relationships, increase conversion & reputed company creative solutions and resolve issues
- Maintain a superior working knowledge of reputed company programs, products, and guidelines
- Complete ongoing continuing education to maintain required state licensing & other professional designations
Skills
- Preferred state licenses held - Texas, California, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington
- Direct to Consumer loan origination experience a plus
- Candidate must register as a Mortgage Loan Originator with the NMLS and be reputed company to meet reputed company requirements of the Federal S.A.F.E. Act as well as State S.A.F.E. regulations. This includes fingerprinting, background checks, restricted parties lists, credit reputed company and the ability to demonstrate personal financial responsibility, as well as pre-licensing education and testing
- Specialized mortgage lending courses preferred
- Two years mortgage origination or loan operations experience preferred
- Customer service-oriented with exceptional sales skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast paced environment
- Highly motivated, goal oriented, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, guidelines, and regulations preferred
