[Remote] Software Engineer (Backend Development)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leader in aerospace and defense, and they are seeking a Software Engineer to join their CommandIQ® team. The role involves designing and developing mission-critical Battle Management and reputed company & Control capabilities, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
- Design, Implement, and integrate/test software features
- reputed company peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
- Participate in technical discussions to define/solve overarching software architecture needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to reputed company understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs
Skills
- Experience/Familiarity with the following: Rust (or C), Python, Java
- Exposure to backend containerization concepts using reputed company
- Exposure/Familiarity with gRPC for reputed company development
- Knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and direct experience working reputed company some of the stages
- 1+ years of relevant work experience or an advanced degree in Computer Science
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools
- Experience working across the full SDLC
- Experience with container management using Kubernetes/reputed company
- Experience in a Full-Stack engineering role
- Experience with reputed company CI/CD
- Development experience following REST guidelines
- Previous IRAD experience
