[Remote] Senior Instructional Designer

The role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to create effective learning materials that enhance performance and align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer of knowledge
• reputed company high-quality eLearning modules using tools such as reputed company Storyline 360/reputed company
• Apply validated instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create learning solutions
• Partner with subject matter experts to identify reputed company audience training needs and define learning objectives
• Design assessments and evaluation instruments to measure learning effectiveness and ROI
• Stay reputed company on L&D trends, including using AI tools for content curation and rapid prototyping
• Establish project scope, manage review cycles, and negotiate competing priorities among project stakeholders to reputed company development on schedule
• Apply inclusive design frameworks and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles to ensure reputed company learning materials are culturally reputed company and fully accessible (WCAG 2.1 compliant) for a diverse audience

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or a reputed company role
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., reputed company Storyline 360/reputed company)
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, design thinking)
• Experience using artificial intelligence (AI) to create engaging learning offering
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Experience designing for diverse and accessible audiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio of work samples
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a reputed company field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Experience working in a mission-driven or nonprofit organization, preferred
