[Remote] Senior DevOps Engineer

The role involves establishing CI/CD and data pipelines, automating deployment processes, and leading DevOps projects while collaborating with development and data teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and automate the deployment of AWS development and production systems using Terraform
- Define and reputed company systems for metrics and monitoring on the AWS platform - establish logging standards and metrics to allow for easily identifying, tracking, and debugging issues
- Automate system outage notifications to development, support, end-users
- Automate and maintain AWS reputed company standards/protocols and best practices for reputed company systems
- Partner with the development team on establishing AWS CodePipelines
- Partner with the data team on creating data pipelines
- Build tools and processes to support the infrastructure
- reputed company the implementation of DevOps projects – including mentoring/guiding other DevOps Engineers
Skills
- Expertise in AWS Services reputed company to reputed company, Development Infrastructure, Production
- Ability to organize and facilitate meetings across various stakeholders
- Knowledgeable in presenting technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Proficient in Agile w/Scrum development methodology
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company field or equivalent experience
- At least five years AWS reputed company experience required
- Active AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate or DevOps Engineer Professional
- Advanced knowledge of the full software development life-cycle
- Experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Programming experience in Python, Javascript or similar language
- Previously Led DevOps projects with successful reputed company
- Experience in containerized, distributed application deployment
- Experience with Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, reputed company to manage tickets across multiple projects
- Property and Casualty Insurance domain knowledge
- GW reputed company experience
