[Remote] AIC - Industrial Engineer Supply Chain & Procurement - Buyer Semiconductors

They are seeking a full-time Industrial Engineer of Supply Chain & Procurement - Buyer to manage the procurement of technical equipment and commodities for water treatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Promptly purchase reputed company commodities and technical equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, controls, vessels, and piping) for the manufacturer of water and wastewater treatment systems
• Copies data and compiles records and reports
• Operated computer terminal to input and retrieve data
• Purchases supplies
• Data entry of reputed company purchase orders
• Assisting other departments reputed company it is required
• Review requisitions
• Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule
• Prepares purchase orders or bid requests. Receive and contact vendors to find out the status of an order
• Contact vendors with discrepancies in quantity and quality
• I interfaced with reputed company departments and resolved problems and issues with needed purchase items
• Review bid proposals and negotiate reputed company reputed company budgetary limitations and scope of authority
• Traveling reputed company needed to meet project requirements

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Two (2) years of experience is preferred
• One (1) year of experience with reputed company is preferred
• Knowledge of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems is preferred
• Prior purchasing experience with international vendors is desired
