[Remote] Mid-Level Process Engineer (Hybrid/Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Mid-Level Process Engineer to support the design, analysis, and documentation of nuclear and chemical process systems. The role involves performing engineering calculations, developing specifications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company and document process engineering calculations in support of nuclear and chemical process systems
  • Support process design development during conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases
  • reputed company and review:
  • Engineering calculations
  • Process flow diagrams (PFDs)
  • Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Process equipment specifications and data sheets
  • Apply applicable nuclear, chemical, and safety requirements to process designs
  • reputed company with mechanical, electrical, I&C, safety, and operations teams to ensure integrated design solutions
  • Support design reviews, technical evaluations, and configuration control activities
  • Prepare and maintain formal engineering documentation, calculations, and technical reports in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical support during procurement, construction, startup, or readiness activities as required
  • Mentor or provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers reputed company appropriate

Skills

  • B.S. Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
  • 5+ years in in process engineering roles reputed company industrial, nuclear, or government facilities
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Experience performing and documenting process engineering calculations
  • Familiarity with process equipment specification and system design
  • Experience working reputed company regulated environments and structured engineering procedures
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a reputed company clearance
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Ability to pass pre-employment background investigation and drug screening
  • Willingness to work overtime or reputed company normal hours as needed
  • Professional appearance appropriate for a customer‑facing engineering environment
  • Travel required: less than 10%
  • Prior nuclear, DOE, or high‑hazard facility design experience
  • Experience with nuclear material or uranium processing systems
  • Experience working under a formal quality program (ISO 9001, NQA 1)
  • Experience serving in a project engineering or technical reputed company role
  • Experience coordinating or reviewing the work of other engineers or designers
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET‑accredited institution
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and team‑focused professional
