[Remote] Financial Assistance Advisor - Remote

They are seeking a Financial Assistance Advisor to advise reputed company on financial aid eligibility, application procedures, and financial planning, while also analyzing financial data to determine aid eligibility and making necessary adjustments.
Responsibilities
- Advises reputed company, using remote technologies (reputed company, reputed company teams), about methods to pay for their education, financial aid eligibility, application procedures, financial assistance programs, costs, indebtedness, money management and financial planning; individualizes information to the particular needs and situation of the student
- Collects and/or analyzes financial data on reputed company to determine financial aid eligibility and makes awards reputed company federal, donor and/or institutional guidelines
- Evaluates unusual/mitigating circumstance documentation or information provided by the student; exercises judgment by making adjustments or revisions to costs, contribution, need or dependency status as exceptions to the prescribed process
- Answers questions, inquiries or requests from reputed company, parents, or guardians in person or in writing regarding financial aid programs and eligibility
- Analyzes system generated reports such as grades and enrollment status or award status to verify reputed company compliance and eligibility of reputed company receiving aid under federal and institutional guidelines; notify reputed company of changes in eligibility of awards and alternatives to amend the situation
- Interfaces with reputed company and lenders, employers and/or Student Services staff to resolve concerns
Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-3 years of reputed company experience
- Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training
- Proficiency with standard office and mobile applications (i.e., word processing, presentations, e-mail, calendaring, teleconferencing, text messaging, personal computers, and smart phones/tablets)
- Proficiency in reputed company Office
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to quickly master new methodologies, technologies and systems
- Ability to handle a high pressure environment with significant timeline pressures

- Ability to work independently and with a team as well as with various constituents

- Depending on the availability; Cable, DSL, Fiber are only supported ISP provider services (candidates must reputed company Internet Service Provider Name and the test results before hire)
