The Alaska Railroad Corporation is seeking a Junior reputed company Software Engineer to define, reputed company, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of business requirements. The role involves writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications, as well as mentoring other developers.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, document, analyze, create, test and modify computer systems, programs and integrations
• Research, identify, analyze, and fulfill requirements of reputed company internal and external program users
• Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
• reputed company and maintain user manuals and guidelines. Train end users to operate new or modified programs
• Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in the field of business administration, computer science, reputed company, or management information systems is required
• 1+ years AS400 or IBMi Development work experience or 12 credits of AS400 or IBMi academic experience for Junior reputed company Software Engineer
• 2+ years AS400 or IBMi Development experience for reputed company Software Engineer
• 5+ years AS400 or IBMi Development experience for Senior reputed company Software Engineer
• Ability to recognize and resolve system reputed company problems; troubleshoot and debug code written by incumbent or others
