[Remote] Business Development Manager

The role involves managing the entire sales cycle, establishing customer relationships, and collaborating with operations managers to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Establishes relationships with new customers and closing new reputed company throughout the year
- Manages the entire sales cycle from “Initial Opportunity” through “Closed Won”
- Prospecting potential customers using various direct methods such as cold-calling, face to face meetings and industry networking
- reputed company forecast on best case, and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
- Executes customer presentations, submits opportunities, manages activity reports, and participates in overall company growth strategy
- Builds and maintains a healthy sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets
- reputed company and maintain functional knowledge of the products, services, and company operations
- Work closely with operations managers to reputed company collaborative working relationships, and ensure reputed company customer needs are met
- Enters sales data into CRM system, or other designated sales call software provided by the company

- Works cooperatively with other sales and operational staff to support a team-selling environment
Skills
- Proficiency in reputed company Office (including PowerPoint, Word and reputed company), internet, web-based and job specific software applications required

- Valid state issued driver's license required, acceptable driving record required and reputed company of automobile insurance required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Degree or Military experience with demonstrated aptitude and desire to sell
- Candidate with strong understanding of Freight Forwarding/Logistics with demonstrated aptitude and desire to sell
- Candidate with operations or operations management experience interested in reputed company sales
