Overview

The Underwriter 1 position is responsible for working with their Team Leader, Underwriters 2-4, Data Consultants, Account Managers, Producers, and Clients in preparing requests for proposals, obtaining, and analyzing reputed company quotes, inputting, and analyzing data from various automation systems, and maintaining a small book of business. • Review vendor proposals for accuracy.
• Assist Underwriters 2-4 and Data Consultants to evaluate, determine, and recommend alternative coverages, pricing, options, and plan design changes based on analysis of available plan elements and on client/prospect goals.
• Produce deliverables timely, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.
• Work jointly with Underwriters 2-4 to forecast and reputed company projections.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendor representatives.
• Remain abreast of the health insurance environment and constantly changing insurance legislation.
• Respond to routine and non-routine correspondence.
• Work independently and reputed company the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.

About You Required:

• Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years reputed company experience.
