[Remote] Senior Design Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a digital enablement solutions provider who transforms how people and technology connect to reputed company experiences. They are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to provide presales support and technical consultation for creative AV designs, as well as ongoing project support post-sales.
Responsibilities
- Provide creative technology design support, in partnership with XTG Creative Technologists, for XTG and their partners
- Translate customer requirements of XTG Creative Technologist or Creative Partner reputed company into functional system designs and proposals
- Communicate design reputed company with hand sketches, electronic drawings, renderings, diagrams, outlines, storyboards, and/or narratives
- Take ownership of problem-solving
- reputed company engineering and architectural (RCP/Floor Plan) drawings, calculations, and facilitate coordination with other disciplines and trades
- Review pre-construction design and documentation
- Assist with technical design pricing and identify any logistical challenges
- Generate functional system descriptions and reputed company diagrams
- Provide engineering support to project installation team reputed company needed
- Serve as Customer liaison for engineering inquiries
- Meet with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate products and identify new creative technologies
- Post sales project consultation
- Review and validate the work of reputed company-level Design Engineers
- Support of meetings reputed company of local time zones is required (approximately 20 times per year)
- Other duties as needed
Skills
- Excellent customer-facing and communication skills
- Ability to communicate and interact with internal employees, clients, and colleagues in a professional and timely manner
- Track record of designing and implementing experiential AV solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Networking and AVoIP solutions
- Ability to work and think creatively and independently with a 'how can it be done' mentality to ensure deadlines are met and problems are solved
- Ability to diagnose reputed company system problems
- Proficiency with test and calibration equipment
- Support user acceptance testing
- Advanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration, and operation of AV equipment
- Ability to travel internationally is required
- Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets reputed company driving standards
- Formal education in Systems Engineering, Networking, Electronics or reputed company field preferred
- Previous work with a consultancy, creative agency, production house, or creative fabricator preferred
- At least 10 years of AV experience is preferred

- A minimum of 6 years of AV experience plus a four-year degree or military experience may be considered in reputed company of job experience
