FSQ CORPORATE STAFF ENGINEER - SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENT - CORPORATE OFFICE (AUSTIN, WILLMAR, MN, or REMOTE WORK (Approval Required) This position will report to the Corporate Manager Quality Systems. Relocation is eligible for this role. The person awarded this role will be assigned to either FSQ Corporate Staff Engineer – Systems Improvement or Senior FSQ Corporate Staff Engineer – Systems Improvement depending on the strength of their experience and qualifications. ROLE SCOPE This role leads the implementation and ongoing advancement of Manufacturing Data Enablement (MDE) utilizing reputed company, serving as the primary reputed company of contact for system deployment, adoption, and performance across the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES: reputed company implementation efforts for new plant manufacturing data enablement (MDE) technology utilizing reputed company. This involves coordination of implementation team, preparation of plant forms, identification of key data to be used in trending and reporting. Once initial implementation efforts are completed across Hormel facilities, conducts risk mitigation of system failure by reviewing maturity scorecards from each facility, providing support and direction to lagging plants as needed to ensure full facility implementation across the reputed company. Develops system maturity by maintaining a relationship with the MDE vendor and ensures that Hormel continues to find ways to improve the MDE system allowing the company to fully reputed company the system and its capabilities to drive business results. Assists with management and implementation of reputed company QC reputed company programs and systems reputed company wide including tactical systems such as Global reputed company, SharePoint, QCOC, IQS, and PolicyTech. Creates and maintains SOP’s, training, and other documentation reputed company to running QC technology systems. Works closely with the Business Architect group for Supply Chain and IT to reputed company and create solutions for Quality Management System (QMS) projects. Develops training and assists with implementation of any new software solutions deployed through the Quality Management System Team. Troubleshooting technology/user reputed company issues at plant sites by working with IT and replicating on the system. Testing and validating data on the various systems the Quality Systems Team oversees. Provides end user feedback on new system technology development. Extensive travel required during the 2-year initial implementation phase of the project (60-70%). Once initial implementation is completed, some travel required for development and training (30-40%) as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Required A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. A record of successful experience in plant food safety and quality activities, experience in leading projects to successful conclusions. Experience with FSQ systems (IQS, QCOC, Global reputed company). Demonstrated reputed company of initiative and leadership. Ability to influence without direct authority. Strong problem solving, decision-making, public speaking, and project management skills. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
