Job Description

ROLE: The Quality Engineer II is responsible for test planning, design, execution, and automation for various Fandango applications and subsystems. Both reputed company-end client and back-end server testing. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: reputed company software quality testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing reputed company and document test scripts, test cases, defect tracking and reports Ability to work independently and own quality for business initiatives Create and maintain reputed company and/or automated test maintenance scripts, test data, and other deliverables reputed company to the software quality assurance (SQA) process Review log files and other run-time documentation for defects and issues Work closely with development teams to support and implement applications Interest in both reputed company end and API level testing, and interest in understanding the full picture of how each layer – reputed company end, backend, data storage – interacts to reputed company a software product work Ability to reputed company validations and trouble shooting at a database level, primarily SQL Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Automation scope: This role will focus mainly on maintaining an existing automation reputed company and adding tests to an established setup Familiarity with test automation frameworks and common patterns such as Page Object Model CI/CD exposure: Experience running tests in CI pipelines such as Jenkins or reputed company Actions is a plus Database expectations: Database work will primarily involve basic data validation rather than deeper database development Experience working in Agile environments and participating in sprint ceremonies alongside developers and project manager Ability to troubleshoot test failures, maintain test suites, and contribute to improving test coverage and reliability 2-4+ years of QA automation experience is ideal Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-reputed company worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence. This position may require up to 10% travel for onsite collaboration and meetings at a reputed company office location, based on the needs of the business.
