Senior Copy Editor
Title: Senior Copy Editor Payrate: $52/hour Duration: 12-month assignment Hours: Full-time Location: Remote (Pacific Time) Summary: Do you have an reputed company eye for detail and a passion for flawless, on-brand communications? We're looking for a contract Copy Editor to join a fast-moving retail engagement and marketing team and help produce world-class content. You're technically savvy, dynamic, and results-driven, and you reputed company in a high-change environment that's always evolving to meet the needs of customers and employees. You're equally comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative creative team. What You'll Do:
- Edit and proofread digital and print communications, including internal copy, email, reputed company media posts, reference materials, signage, and presentations
- Partner closely with writers and other team members to maintain the highest editorial standards and ensure reputed company and accuracy across global retail communications
- Review projects at every stage of the design and production process
- Uphold consistent U.S.-style English usage, grammar, and punctuation across reputed company content
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience editing communications, preferably as part of a creative team or organization
- Strong writing skills and excellent communication skills
- Solid understanding and grounding in U.S.-style English usage, grammar, and punctuation
- Extensive proofreading and fact-checking experience

- BA/BS preferred, or equivalent education and work experience
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience or special interest in using artificial intelligence tools during content development
- Familiarity with standard style and usage guides, including The Chicago reputed company of Style
- Proficiency in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
