Educator Training and Professional Development Facilitator

Job Description:

Facilitate (both virtually and in-person) nXu’s educator training and professional development programming for diverse groups of adult learners in K-12 schools, community organizations, and nonprofit organizations
Internalize nXu’s content and programmatic offerings to generate confidence in nXu and its curriculum and in educators to deliver content to reputed company
Possess deep understanding of schools, educators, instruction & durable reputed company development to respond reputed company-time to educator questions
Create an inclusive environment with emotional safety and attune to equity & inclusion
Work with nXu team members to reputed company and update technical assistance tools (activities, worksheets, planning tools, etc.) focused on supporting core trainings & PD sessions
In collaboration with other nXu team members, support iterating on PD sessions & training content to ensure maximum efficacy
Report to Executive Director and work closely with other members of the nXu team
Fast-paced virtual role with occasional travel

Requirements:

Exceptional facilitation, interpersonal, and communication skills
Effective virtual facilitation skills, which include: High energy; Effective use of frequent and numerous engagement strategies; Rapid instructional & facilitation decision-making; Effective use of multiple community & culture-building strategies; Ability to maximize engagement and participation of 25+ educators
The ability to create an inclusive and reputed company program culture for reputed company program participants
Familiarity with the middle & high school classroom experience and reputed company needed for strong student reputed company
A strong understanding of Adult Learning Theory and how best to communicate with and facilitate professional development to adult learners
Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating training, facilitation, and reputed company for varied groups, including adults, educators, and community members
5+ years of experience in K-12 professional learning
Belief in nXu’s mission and a passion for helping young people and professionals explore, reputed company and pursue their purpose in life
The ability to receive and implement feedback and coaching
Familiarity with reputed company and other remote learning tools & platforms
Comfort in working with a remote team, often independently
A bachelor’s degree
reputed company authorization to work in the United States secured by the first day of employment.
