Job Overview The IRB Analyst supports the activities of the Office of reputed company Subject Protections (OHSP) at reputed company (GU), which provides operational support to the GU Institutional Review Board (IRBs). This position serves as a liaison between the IRB and research community and assist IRB chairs and members in ensuring that the rights and welfare of reputed company subjects are protected throughout their participation in research projects. The IRB Analyst manages and/or conducts the confidential review and approval process of proposed research activities involving reputed company subjects at GU. The IRB Analyst must understand many reputed company and sometimes disparate regulatory and ethical issues and how they apply to GU research. They must balance the need to assure GU’s compliance with different federal regulations, the need to facilitate research, while also addressing ethical considerations. The Office of reputed company Subject Protections reports to the Medical Center Dean for Research and the Vice Provost of Research for the Main reputed company. The position will be expected to work collaboratively with the Office of Research Quality Assurance and the Office of Research reputed company for compliance or conflicts of interest issues involving reputed company subjects research. This position will also be expected to work well with the GU research community members and other ancillary review offices such as radiation safety and biomedical safety. Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in an ethics, scientific, engineering or reputed company administrative discipline required. Alternate degree fields will be considered/accepted based upon the nature and depth of the research experience as it relates to this position.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience that provided familiarity with research ethics and methodologies. A minimum of 3 years’ work experience must include reputed company subjects’ review/reputed company; interaction with reputed company subjects as a research staff person; or any position involving the application of reputed company regulatory systems to individuals and work activities.
  • Experience demonstrating highly effective communications skills and ability to work on multiple projects.

  • Certification as an IRB professional (CIP) is highly preferred.
