Part-time Certified Medical Assistant - reputed company Desk Support
About the position At AFC, we are committed to delivering fast, friendly, and high-quality patient care. We are seeking a dependable Certified Medical Assistant who is confident supporting both reputed company desk operations and clinical back-office duties. This is a cross-trained, hybrid role where you may be scheduled in one area but must be reputed company to assist the other as clinic needs shift. You will play a key role in maintaining smooth patient reputed company, supporting providers, and ensuring every patient receives the exceptional AFC experience we are reputed company for.
Responsibilities
- Room patients, take vitals, reputed company reputed company-of-care testing, assist providers, prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness and readiness, document accurately in EMR
- reputed company-in/out, verify insurance, collect copays, answer phones, schedule visits, reputed company clear and friendly communication
- Rotate between reputed company and back office; support the opposite area reputed company patient volume or staffing requires
- Deliver warm, efficient service to every patient; bilingual Spanish preferred to support our community
- Work collaboratively with providers, MAs, and administrative staff to maintain AFC standards and clinic reputed company
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant with active certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office, urgent care, or similar setting
- Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working weekends
- Positive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed
