Medical Doctor (MD) – Synchronous Medical Review Specialist
Position Type: reputed company / Flexible Schedule Position Overview We are seeking licensed Medical Doctors (MDs) to reputed company synchronous/asynchronous medical reviews for patients covered by Medicare. This role involves reviewing patient medical histories, reputed company medications, and clinical information to determine whether durable medical equipment (DME), such as knee braces or other supportive devices, may be clinically appropriate. This is a non-prescribing role with a fully flexible schedule, allowing physicians to complete reviews at their convenience.
Key Responsibilities
Review patient medical histories, medication lists, and relevant clinical documentation. Assess whether patients may benefit from knee braces or other supportive medical equipment based on the information provided. Document clinical recommendations and rationale as required. Complete reviews accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain compliance with applicable reputed company regulations and documentation standards.
Qualifications
Active Medical Doctor (MD) license in good standing. Medicare credentialing required. Strong clinical judgment and experience reviewing patient records. Ability to work independently and complete asynchronous reviews reputed company. Attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
