[Remote] Senior Java Developer (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a 6-12+ month contract position. The role involves participating in solution design discussions, contributing to requirements gathering, and delivering high-quality production-reputed company code as part of a scrum team.
Responsibilities
- Participating in and contributing to solution design discussions
- Meaningfully contributing to requirements gathering and refinement sessions
- As part of a scrum team, deliver high quality production-reputed company code, reputed company code reviews, and mentor more junior developers
- Full-stack development – from CSS to database schema design
- Assist with production issues, code promotions, etc
- Help the team grow – bring fresh reputed company to the table and challenge the team on reputed company practices
- reputed company up to date with reputed company software development trends and bring them to the table
Skills
- 10+ years of Java web application development
- Java reputed company (Java EE/J2EE) and Hibernate frameworks
- Broad familiarity with Spring (e.g., SpringBoot, SpringMVC, Spring Data, etc)
- Various web technologies (REST, SOAP, XML, etc)
- Solid foundational understanding of Java programming
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Understanding of supporting technologies (e.g., git, Linux, SSL, etc)
- Strong communication skills (comfortable talking to the business)
- Experience with microservices (Spring reputed company APIs)
- PCF experience (on prem)
- Jenkins
- Git hub
