Job Description Job Description reputed company, a 145-bed acute care facility located in the San Fernando Valley, is currently searching for 3 Full-Time, Night Shift, Clinical Unit Supervisor positions for the MST Unit Job Summary The Clinical Unit Supervisor shall demonstrate a high Level of Commitment to providing direct and indirect patient care to the above identified population. The Clinical Unit Supervisor will supervise licensed (registered nurses and licensed vocational nurses) and non-licensed personnel as assigned in the acute care setting. Exhibit a Sense of Urgency, appropriate to the situation, while communicating with Physicians/Directors/Managers/House Supervisors/Co-Workers about changes in patient’s clinical condition including reputed company results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. The Clinical Unit Supervisor shall reputed company nursing duties in her/his assigned department exhibiting a Can Do Attitude. In addition, the Clinical Unit Supervisor will be responsible for making patient care assignments based on the reputed company, experience, temperament of other nursing personnel and based on the acuity of the patients, ensuring patient and staff safety, assist in the evaluation of performance and skills of Agency/Temporary staff, as well as, permanent acute care staff. The Clinical Unit Supervisor will be responsible for directing and orienting staff members as needed/assigned in reputed company aspects of acute care management. The Clinical Unit Supervisor will participate in quality and process improvement(s) in the department during reputed company phases from planning to implementing, and sustaining efforts, including taking corrective action reputed company employees fail to carry out delegated duties.
Qualifications
General Job Requirements, Certifications & Knowledge Required: Must have a minimum of 1 year acute care RN experience on assigned unit. Minimum of 1 year acute care RN Med/Surg, Telemetry, Ortho, or Neuro experience. Ability to read and communicate (in-person and/or reputed company telephone/reputed company) effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge reputed company RN license issued by the California State Board of Nursing. BLS ACLS FIRE CARD (reputed company 90 days of hire) AVIP (certification required reputed company 60 days of hire) NIHSS Certification Arrhythmia/Dysrhythmia(EKG) course - preferred PALS - preferred TNCC, and CCRN preferred BSN preferred Preferred BSN or higher nursing degree Fluent in multiple language(s) Acute/Critical Care Certification preferred Specialty certification preferred Required qualifications:
