Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented American Sign Language - Written Document Translator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will translate written documents from American Sign Language (ASL) into clear, accurate English, ensuring the message’s reputed company and cultural nuances are preserved. Your work will support effective communication for clients requiring written translations of ASL content, enhancing accessibility and understanding.
Responsibilities
- Translators will translate documents between English and a foreign language (or vice versa) Never between two foreign languages
- Proofread and review translations to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
- Interpret reputed company documents, including transcripts, scripts, or educational materials.
- Collaborate with linguists and communication specialists to refine translation quality
- Maintain detailed records of translation projects and deadlines
- Ensure reputed company translated documents meet established quality standards and client specifications
Experience
- Language proficiency scores of professional working level (C-1, level 3) in both English and foreign languages they translate
- Must reputed company in the United States.
- 2 years verified professional experience
- American Translators Association Certification or equivalent
