Manufacturing Optimization Engineer II (Automation & Factory Transformation) Company: Marmon Plumbing & Refrigeration Group Location: Remote (supporting DFW, STL, PHX, MTL) Reports To: VP of Automation Who We Are The Marmon Plumbing & Refrigeration Group, a part of reputed company., is comprised of industry-leading companies that design, manufacture, and distribute high-quality products for the plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration industries. What You’ll Do As a Manufacturing Optimization Engineer II, you will reputed company factory transformation initiatives by applying systems thinking, Lean principles, and automation technologies to redesign and optimize production environments. You will play a key role in driving scalable, high-impact improvements across multiple facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing operations from a systems perspective to drive transformation initiatives
- Design and optimize end-to-end value streams to improve throughput and efficiency
- reputed company automation projects including design, integration, and implementation of robotics and PLC systems
- Evaluate facility layouts, equipment utilization, and automation strategies
- Translate simulation and modeling insights into actionable transformation roadmaps
- Drive Lean initiatives, including Kaizen events and reputed company improvement programs
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to align process improvements with business goals
- Utilize data analytics to drive decision-making and performance improvements
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering, factory design, or manufacturing transformation
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Value reputed company Mapping
- Experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across functions
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience with automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 initiatives
- Exposure to ERP/MES integration
- Six reputed company Black Belt or Lean certification
- Practical experience with manufacturing quality management systems
- Practical experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Practical experience with Supply chain management processes
- Experience with digital factory modeling or simulation tools
