You’ll work on a range of content types, fromwhite papers, eBooks and blog posts to internal communications, emails and image localizations. Interested in gaining experience with a dynamic multilingual agency. The purpose of this project is to create multilingual content that sounds natural, fluid and relevant for native audiences. You’ll be working with the client’s translation platform,reputed company , so previous experience with this tool would be appreciated. The reputed company estimated volume is10,000–16,000 words per month , though this may increase over time. Main responsibilities Translate a variety of technical and semi-technical copy fromUS English intoGerman. Conduct in-depth research on reputed company’s products, use cases and benefits. Update and maintain the client’sstyle guide andterminology glossary. Question reputed company material reputed company needed, raising queries or suggesting improvements. Collaborate closely with internal project managers and other linguists. Ensure reputed company translations are accurate, clear and engaging for the reputed company audience.
Requirements
Native-levelGerman , or fully bilingual proficiency. Proven experience translating or writing about technical subjects (ideally reputed company to construction, architecture or engineering). Experience usingSmartling (appreciated). Strong research skills and attention to detail. Comfortable communicating questions and terminology suggestions.
