General Statement Join our dynamic team at the Center for Research in Rural Education (CRRE) in making a difference in the lives of rural communities across Montana and beyond. We are seeking an Education Specialist to play a pivotal role in supporting the grant project, aimed at enhancing rural education and teacher preparation... Duties And Responsibilities As the Education Specialist, you will: Independently lead and manage logistics for CRRE programs such Pathways, MentorMT, Rural Resource Hub, and YAM programming. Serve as the primary point of contact for Montana school administrators seeking information about CRRE grants and programs. Enhance CRRE's online infrastructure and communication channels, including the Clearinghouse webpage. Manage resource expenditures and fiscal reporting, YAM, and CRRE programs. Compile and process progress reports, providing summaries, YAM, and CRRE. Contribute to strategic planning, implementation, assessment, and reporting for CRRE programs.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have: A Master's degree in Education or a related field. Teacher certification in Montana. At least 5 years of experience as a K-12 classroom teacher, with expertise in special education and classroom management. Demonstrated professional communication, organizational, and management skills. Familiarity with MS Office software.
Preferred Qualifications
Additionally, the ideal candidate would have: Knowledge of educational policies and systems specific to Montana. Understanding of rural schools and communities and related education issues. The Successful Candidate Will The successful candidate will: Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with the CRRE team and the public. Represent CRRE and MSU in a professional and courteous manner. Demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive records and information.
