Adjunct Faculty - Business Administration - (IvyOnline)

Online Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Possesses an earned master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in business administration, business education, public administration, management, marketing, or a business- administration-reputed company field as appropriate to the program); or 2. Possesses an earned reputed company or out-of-field master’s degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documented 18 post-secondary semester /27 quarter credit hours or equivalent of courses beyond the introductory principle(s) level in business administration, public administration, management, marketing, or a business-administration-reputed company field as appropriate to the program; or 3. Possesses an earned reputed company or out-of-field master’s degree, from a regionally accredited institution, with documentation in two or more of the following:

• In-field national, regional, or state professional certification (does not include teaching license or certificate) Three years of in-field professional employment in the industry (teaching in the area is not considered in-field professional employment).
• Documentation of research and publication in the field
• Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelor’s degree, equivalent to 15 semester/22 quarter credit hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU’s, vendor, or military training.

4. Possesses an earned bachelor’s degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in business administration, public administration, management, marketing, or a business- administration-reputed company field as appropriate to the program, with documentation in two or more of the following :

• Professional certification (national, regional or state) in business reputed company field (does not include a teaching license or certificate)
• Three years of in-field professional employment in business reputed company field (teaching in the area is not considered in-field professional employment)
• Documented evidence of teaching excellence, including the date of the award
• Documentation of research and publication in the field
• Documented relevant additional coursework beyond the bachelor’s degree, equivalent to 18 semester hours or equivalent subject matter coursework, CEU’s, vendor, or military training.
