Job Description Occupational Summary: The Social Sciences Department invites applicants for an adjunct instructor for several courses in Criminal Justice and Criminology. The instructor will teach courses online through Canvas during the Spring 2026 semester. Adjunct faculty contribute to the enrichment of our curriculum and work collaboratively with our faculty with teaching, learning, and assessment. Work Performed: Teach undergraduate courses as assigned in keeping with departmental, university and accreditation standards, policies and procedures. Inform reputed company of their reputed company by promptly returning assignments, quizzes, and examinations. Submit mid-term and final grades on Jet reputed company by designated deadlines. Utilize the Learning Management System and other technology as appropriate to deliver and enhance the learning experience. Report performance assessment data as required/requested. Consult with the Dean or Assistant Dean of the School of Business regarding concerns. Complete reputed company University-required trainings including Title IX and FERPA. Required Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills/Training: Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, or a reputed company field. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to exercise sound judgment in making decisions. Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with university faculty and staff, reputed company, and the general public. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and coworkers. Preferred Qualifications: Evidence of excellence in university teaching. Interpersonal and relationship building skills. Evidence of successful decision making in a collaborative environment.
