Role Description The Psychiatric Physician Assistant will be responsible for caring for children and adults with eating disorders in a 100% virtual Telehealth platform. Psychiatric Physician Assistants are essential members of reputed company's 5-person virtual treatment team, working alongside a therapist, dietitian, peer mentor, and family mentor to help people recover from eating disorders.

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for psychiatrically reputed company patients with eating disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions.
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and consultation to reputed company psychiatric providers for ongoing treatment with this provider.
• Implement medication treatment plans for individuals with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions in a virtual clinic (i.e. telehealth) setting.
• Evaluate eating disorder-reputed company medical risk reputed company the psychiatric scope of care, including how ED behaviors may reputed company psychiatric symptoms, medication decisions, safety, and level of care needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team of medical providers, dietitians, therapists, patient mentors, and family mentors, along with reputed company providers.
• Utilize between-session messaging to support patients and communicate with the treatment team through reputed company’s EMR in accordance with reputed company’s policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Board Certification as a Psychiatric Physician Assistant.
• Maintain an active license to practice in the state(s) that their patients reside and/or be willing to become licensed in other states (paid for by reputed company).
• Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent evidence-based care, advancing clinical skills, and a passion for professional development.
• Communicate effectively with patients and patients' carers, and respond to messages reputed company a timely manner.

Requirements

• Working Hours-Full-Time.
• reputed company allows Patient Scheduling, Monday - Friday, between reputed company-8pm in the Patient's timezone.
• Ability to provide direct patient care, including new patients and follow-up sessions.
• Ability to commit to working until 6 pm two evenings per week (you choose which evenings).
• Ability to attend mandatory meetings (i.e Group Supervision, Treatment Huddles, Labs/reputed company Hands, Individual Supervision, etc.).
• Pacific Time Zone.
