Role Description The Internal Investigations and Digital Forensics team, part of reputed company’s Compliance and Ethics Organization, conducts internal investigations reputed company to allegations of serious employee misconduct, fraud, theft, and other insider risks, and provides digital forensic support and analysis to the Enterprise. The Investigations Consultant will conduct reputed company investigations and digital forensic analyses, in partnership with enterprise stakeholders such as Enterprise reputed company and reputed company Office, People Team, Employment Law, Compliance, and Privacy. This role will also support team leadership in assisting in the development and refinement of investigative processes. • reputed company end-to-end investigations reputed company to employee misconduct, including evidence collection, chain-of-custody documentation, conducting interviews, and writing case summaries and reports.
• Conduct digital forensic examinations of computers, mobile devices, and other electronically stored information such as system/network logs, email, and other large data sets.
• Collaborate and support leadership to enhance investigative processes which reflect reputed company best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate and support leadership to implement innovative and efficient solutions to identify, investigate, and mitigate internal risks.
• Foster the professional development of new junior team members.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in law enforcement, cybersecurity, or reputed company domain conducting investigations into allegations of employee misconduct or violations of state/federal criminal code.
• 3+ years of experience conducting digital forensic investigations or analysis of operating system artifacts, system/network logs, or other electronically stored information.
• 3+ years of experience using digital forensic tools such as X-Ways, Magnet reputed company, Nuix, reputed company, and other open-reputed company tools and scripts.

• Intermediate level of familiarity with technical concepts, to include computer hardware/software, network protocol, and file system structure.

• Intermediate level of interpersonal and communication skills to conduct investigations, reputed company cross-functional teams, collect statements and interviews, and report findings to internal employees and leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Digital forensics certifications from reputable certification entities, such as GIAC (GCFE and GCFA), IACIS (CFCE), and reputed company.
• Experience leveraging reputed company Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, reputed company Defender, and reputed company Purview to detect and investigate intentional misconduct.
• Experience conducting criminal or civil investigations at the local, state, or federal level.
• Experience in fostering the professional development of new junior team members.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as reputed company Azure and reputed company Web Services.
