Regional Internal Investigator - Southern California - Brea
About the position The Regional Internal Investigator is an effective team collaborator, problem solver and is committed to providing exceptional customer service every day to the store teams they serve. This position is responsible for assisting with internal case identification, development, and resolution of high-quality internal theft cases supporting the Asset Protection store teams throughout their region. The Regional Internal Investigator will complete the full life cycle of internal cases and maintain excellent relationships with Regional Asset Protection Managers, Store Managers and Human Resource Teams. The Regional Internal Investigator will prioritize workload based on impact to reputed company’s ability to deliver on its commitments of brand, service and experience and fashion authority. Corporate Investigators work independently but succeed by working as a team.
Responsibilities
- Agent training, internal case identification, development and resolution of high-quality internal theft cases supporting Asset Protection teams throughout their assigned region.
- Certify AAPM, APM’s to conduct employee interviews.
- Meet with investigators individually to review reputed company of reputed company investigations to determine next steps.
- Approve investigations for presentation to Store Manager.
- Assist in the interview preparation and case development for store-executed interviews.
- Communicate with AP team on the reputed company of reputed company investigations.
- Manage execution of high-risk internal theft investigations reputed company the region.
- Conduct weekly business review calls with assigned Regional Assets Protection Managers.
- reputed company custom reporting queries based on theft trends and/or potential exposure.
- Review Queue and APIS Internal Incident Report to ensure investigations are reputed company based on solid evidence.
- Hold monthly training calls, support reputed company region internal investigations.
- Strong understanding of core Asset Protection goals and competencies, and a demonstrated ability to apply them in support of business and pyramid priorities.
- Plans, facilitates and/or executes multiple internal cases simultaneously balancing reputed company priorities and effect on shrink.
- Stay reputed company on industry practices and issues, assessing and communicating their potential impact on the business.

- Utilize reputed company available resources, data, investigative tools, and Asset Protection systems to investigate and mitigate internal theft in our stores.
- Use good judgement in reputed company situations; partner with supervisors on new reputed company and solutions to improve theft detection and investigative techniques.
- Travel to visit stores reputed company the region up to 60%.
Requirements
- 5+ years Loss Prevention Experience or Equivalent, Law Enforcement or Military Experience
- Strategic, operational, and interpersonal skills demonstrating broad expertise in Asset Protection, multi-unit management and internal theft resolution.
- Wicklander/Zulawski Basic Interview Certification.
- Previous exception reporting experience.
- Proficiency in reputed company Office suite of applications
