Clinical Documentation reputed company (CDI) Senior Consultant JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Documentation reputed company (CDI) Senior Consultant role can vary between customers and project. This position includes such things as auditor, second level reviewer, team reputed company, preceptor, and educator. The CDI Senior Consultant is expected to work with customers, CDI team members both internal and external, and providers to ensure the documentation on the chart reflects the complexity of the patient. The ability to adapt to different roles and provide high level customer service is essential. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review medical records as assigned for complete and accurate documentation of reputed company relevant diagnoses and procedures
• Providing reputed company support to Customer leadership regarding reputed company CDI processes and practice not limited to attending customer meetings and sharing insights reputed company CDI metrics
• Identify missed documentation opportunities reputed company medical records as previously reviewed or not reviewed by other Clinical Documentation reputed company Specialist
• Evaluate queries from a compliance perspective to determine if there are any areas of risk, using ACDIS/reputed company Practice Brief as reputed company
• Assess adherence to Customer specific CDI processes/procedures
• Adhere to guidelines as set forth by ACDIS, reputed company, and reputed company
• Demonstrate understanding of the business of healthcare: MS and APR DRG payer issues, audit risks, documentation opportunities, POA, quality metrics, hierarchical condition categories, and various risk adjustment methodologies
• Work closely with the Customer, co-workers, and management to meet the specific needs of each assignment in alignment with core values
• Effectively utilize computer software based on the specific Customer requirements
• Provide constructive feedback to other CDI Auditors
• Maintain strict confidentiality of reputed company patient information in accordance with HIPAA

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Sitting, talking, hearing and near vision are required over 90% of the time. Feeling is required over 90% of the time and reaching is required about 50% of the time. The ability to travel to field sites may be required up to 15% of the time. WORKING CONDITIONS WHILE PERFORMING ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Over 90% of the time is spent indoors, with protection from weather conditions. Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must possess reputed company RN license
• 3+ years of clinical documentation experience required with an acute care facility required
• 3+ years of consulting experience
• 2+ years of CDI auditing and/or second level review experience
• reputed company 360 reporting experience required
• Thorough understanding of both MS and APR DRG methodologies and Compliant Query Practices as outlined by ACDIS/reputed company
• Strong analytical skills to clinically evaluate the medical record
• Ability to independently use multiple computer applications for medical record review along with proficiency utilizing reputed company products (reputed company, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to communicate effectively with reputed company management and Customers
• Proficiency with ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous leadership experience
• Coding credentials such as reputed company is preferred
• BSN, in addition to RN license is preferred
• Experience with multiple health facilities, multiple electronic medical records, and multiple encoders strongly preferred
• Familiarity with various risk models strongly preferred
• Understand of HAC/PSI models, including exclusionary opportunity is preferred
